Scored Studio creates unique & beautiful dynamic soundtracks for your film content. Shape audio to precisely match - in real-time - your action, beat for beat, cut for cut. At Scored, I worked across the entire platform, designing the UI and UX for the Scored app, Creator app, launch site and platform sites.
Scoring films can be costly and time consuming, and sound packs, inflexible. Scored Studio sets a third way with soundtracks you can scuplt to every frame of your video. With a single slider you can control the intensity of a soundtrack, the Scored engine dynamically mixing each stem. Simple and precise controls, you can score an entire film in moments, not days.
The Scored launch site included multiple interactive panels where you could test out the Scored sound engine; from the intensity slider, to sfx, to shaping the sound with the graph controls.
Exploring multiple routes for the UI, from the more graphical to brighter and more consumer centric, before settling for a style that felt closer to traditional industry software.
Scored Creator, a key part of the Scored ecosystem. The software that would enable composers to create the 'dynamic music' used in the main Scored app. An otherwise complex process of defining how multiple stems mix and merge together.
